I took a day off from posting yesterday, but here’s Day 19 of our daily sketching habit. That does bring up a good point, though. It’s OK to take a day off from sketching every day (or any other daily habit). Just get back to it the next day.
Welcome to Day 16 of our daily sketching habit. There will be 30 days of this “program” and you can apply this principle to other habits. For example, I’ve been doing 5 minute writing sessions every day. Today I’m drawing some heads using pencils.
Welcome to Day 14 of our daily sketching habit. I’ve heard that it takes 30 days to build a habit (some say it’s 60 days) but I think a month is pretty good. I’ve gotten into the habit of building habits, for example posting these every day.
Congratulations if you’re sketching along, because it’s Day 10, or if you’re just watching the videos, that’s also very much appreciated. Today’s inspiration is a skull, which is anatomy, and that’s a useful thing to know.
I initially posted these videos in July, so it’s interesting to see them again. I wanted them to be accessible and useful to a wide variety of people, not just artists. I think experienced artists will find it helpful, but also beginners, too. They’re also about building habits, which for me is the most important thing.
Welcome to Day 9 of Sketching With Sedone. Today’s sketch is a sea turtle, but you can sketch whatever you want. This is part 1 of 2, and it’s six 5 minute sessions. If you’d like to start a daily sketching habit, all it takes is 5 minutes a day. Thanks for watching and have a great day!
Welcome to Day 8 if you’re sketching along with me. In this video, I demonstrate how I sketch from imagination, but as I like to say, it doesn’t matter what you sketch. I also talk about Project D, my fantasy story and worldbuilding project. Thanks for watching, and have a great day!
